Fortescue Metals Group Limited (ASX:FMG, Fortescue) will host a group of media representatives on a tour of its infrastructure and mining operations on November 17th and 18th .
The visit will include Fortescue’s facilities at Port Hedland as well as the Christmas Creek mining operations located in the company’s Chichester Hub, and will focus on Fortescue’s investment in world class infrastructure, mining and processing assets.
Fortescue Chief Executive Officer, Nev Power said, “We’re delighted to host a group of senior journalists to the Pilbara to tour our Port facilities including the fifth berth commissioned earlier this year, and our Christmas Creek mine and ore processing facilities. The event will provide an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the efficiency improvements achieved across our operations, all of which have contributed to our journey down the global cost curve.”
